This study examined the experiences of Black women in historically white learning spaces and our needs in reimaged learning spaces developed for us. The conceptual framework for this study was Black Feminist Thought, critical geography, and Afrofuturism. Using sister circle methodology, participants discussed the simultaneous racialized and gendered experiences that Black women navigate in learning spaces and how technology and Afrofuturism could be beneficial in creating spaces for Black women. Despite our achievements in academic spaces, Black women experience microaggressive environments that have traumatic impacts on our psychological health and our overall experiences in learning environments. Rural veterans face significant disparities to health care that have resulted in lower physical and mental health related quality of life when compared to their urban counterparts (Weeks et al., 2006). Such disparities are further complicated by the six-fold increase in prevalence of mental health diagnoses among Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans (Seal et al., 2009). The purpose of this qualitative study was to identify actions and practices that effective technology leaders use to support and sustain technology integration in elementary school classrooms. Three Georgia public elementary school principals who had been identified as top building level technology leaders and three each of their teachers were interviewed using researcher developed interview questions that addressed the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) seven factors for successful technology implementation. The purpose of this study was to investigate strategies used by University System of Georgia registrars for implementing technological change and how those strategies align with Kotter's (1996) eight-stage model of change and registrars' readiness for change. The purposive sample was comprised of the respondents from the thirty-five University of Georgia System institutions. Eleven registrars revealed experiences, perceptions, concerns and ideas that were similar to the steps outlined by Kotter's eight-stage model.
