Nurses’ Perceptions Of Artificial Intelligence (Ai) Integration Into Practice: An Integrative Review, Lester Lora, Paula Foran

Introduction: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into health care is revolutionising nursing practice, substantially impacting patient care, clinical decision-making and health system efficiency. This integrative literature review explores the perceptions, attitudes and concerns of nurses regarding the use of AI use in clinical settings.

Review methods: A comprehensive literature search was undertaken using Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition, EBSCO: MEDLINE Complete, CINAHL and Scopus. Search terms included ‘artificial intelligence’, ‘AI’, ‘A.I.’, ‘machine learning’, ‘nurse’ and ‘nursing practice, and ‘opinion’, ‘idea’, ‘insight’, ‘perspective’, ‘concern’ and ‘perception’. The paper questions common assumptions in the dominant representational framings of information systems success and failure and proposes a performative perspective that conceives IS success and failure as relational effects performed by sociomaterial practices of IS project actor-networks of developers, managers, technologies, project documents, methodologies, and other actors. The processual approach for understanding organisational change takes time seriously in addressing how an organisation moves from point A to point B. The presence of challenging and violent behaviors that pose risks to the overall safety and the educational learning experience in the public education setting have been on the rise in recent years. Traditional reactive, coercive, and punitive measures to address these behaviors have been futile. Congress responded to the national increase in violent behaviors by implementing several acts, including zero tolerance policies, in an effort to diminish the rise in violent behaviors. In a modern context of constrained resources and high demands, faculty exert agency to strategically navigate their careers (Baez 2000a; Neumann et al. 2006). Guided by the O’Meara et al. (2011) framework on agency in faculty professional lives, this study used Structural Equation Modeling to investigate which departmental factors (perceptions of tenure and promotion process, work-life climate, transparency, person-department fit, professional development resources, and collegiality) influenced faculty agentic perspective and agentic action. Results showed that faculty perceptions of certain departmental contexts do matter in faculty career agency, such as work-life climate, person-department fit, and professional development resources. This research explores the question why IT consultants terminate their employment contracts in a labour market with job drought, downsizing and salary cuts when they were among those who kept their jobs during layoffs. A process model for the maintenance of a psychological contract between employees and employers is presented, which combines the concept of psychological contract with a theory of the relation between intrinsic motivation and management practices and with theories of identity, self-esteem, influence and power. This paper is based on the findings of empirical research conducted in 110 Slovenian companies. Using statistical methods, we examine the effect of the EFQM Excellence Model on the institutionalization of total quality management (TQM) tools and approaches, as well as financial results to motivate TQM implementation. Within the whole group of companies, special attention was paid to the results of applicants for the Slovenian Business Excellence Prize (SBEP), which were compared with other companies. The purpose of this exploratory research was to examine the relationship between the corporate culture of four-year hospitality management programs and the leadership styles of individuals responsible for leading these programs. Separate instruments were used to survey faculty and program heads of four-year hospitality management programs in an attempt to explore numerous research questions. Certain questions focused on the leadership styles of individuals in positions of authority within the program's administration.
