Purpose – This study aims to develop and validate a scale for measuring online fashion brand recognition (OFBR). Design/methodology/approach – Given the existing literature on brand, multiple stages of studies were conducted as a part of the scale development process. The OFBR scale was validated by a step-by-step process following the scale validation methodology suggested in the specialised literature. Findings – The results demonstrate the 25 items of five unique factors that form the OFBR construct and confirm the strong validity of the construct. This case study focuses on the disclosures of thirty seven companies and a unique research approach to making their corporate sustainability performance more open, comparable and engaging. A group of 40 students at the University of Wollongong worked in a structured way to aggregate comparable data on corporate sustainability on a selection of metrics related to the SDGs. This report offers an in depth look at one example of the kind of projects that WikiRate and the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) have been running since 2016, involving more than 2,000 students. The message conveyed by the pioneer work of Jacob Viner in the middle of the 20th century is that any action plan to propel economic development in a particular country requires sharp focus on the identification of the barriers to economic development observable in that country. This paper develops and simulates a dynamic general equilibrium macroeconomic model to analyze the likely impact of oil production and revenue rehabilitation on the Libyan economy, under different government fiscal policy responses. The model is ideally appropriate to analyze macroeconomic issues in oil-producing developing countries. In particular, it is capable of incorporating alternative government policy responses toward the allocation of the oil revenue either upon consumption spending or development spending in the form of government investment spending upon infrastructure, human capital formation and technology acquisition in non-oil production. What's In A User Story: Is Development Methods As Communication, Rodney J. Clarke, Karlheinz Kautz

This paper challenges claims made by Scrum proponents when characterising the communicative nature of user stories: including being more 'authentic' because they comprise spoken language and that they are stories. We argue and decisively demonstrate that neither can be upheld. By incorrectly characterising user stories, we miss opportunities to understand what they are and how they work during development. User stories are better understood by applying a functional theory of communication that emphasises how language is used. By selecting systemic functional linguistics, we can analyse user stories, and have developed a method for factoring unwanted epics into usable user stories.

In this study we conceptualize strategic information technology (IT) alignment as a two-way relationship where business strategy influences IT, and IT influences business strategy. This implies that a multidimensional rather than the traditional unidimensional conceptualization of strategic IT alignment is appropriate. To validate this approach we develop and test a new multidimensional measure that captures the first-order effects of IT alignment at the process-level, where they are expected to be realized. Integrating input-output (IO) analysis and econometric model has become increasingly popular for it combines the advantages of both models (Isard & Anselin, 1982; Moghadam & Ballard, 1988; Beaumont, 1990; Coomes et al., 1991; West, 1991; Treyz, 1993; Israilevich et al., 1996; Rey, 1998; Motii, 2005). There are a number of strategies through which an IO analysis is merged with an econometric model. Australia and Norway have achieved modern levels of development as resourcebased economies, thus avoiding the so-called resource curse. Their ability to achieve this rested heavily on repeated diversification into new resource products and industries. These processes relied largely on innovation, confirming the close ties that have existed between resource-based industries and knowledgeproducing and disseminating sectors of society. We develop a resource-based diversification model that analyses the interaction between "enabling sectors" and resource industries and apply it to the historical experience of the two countries.

This paper focuses on training and development (T&D) policies and practices to explore how multinational companies (MNCs) localise their human resources within their subsidiaries in a developing country. It uses qualitative research methods to examine three US and three Japanese MNCs operating in the automotive and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry in Vietnam. The paper identifies both home- and host-country effects as significant factors in the transfer of MNCs' T&D policies and practices. This paper investigates the relationship between population growth and economic growth, through the study of fertility choices and their effects on natural resources. It aims at analyzing the interactions between endogenous fertility choices and the environment and their link to the sustainable matter. There is concern about the environmental claims organisations make in corporate social reports and advertising. Similar concerns may also occur with reporting of environmental initiatives in journals. This paper explores what information is being conveyed in academic and industry journals. In particular, we examine the types of projects that are discussed and the level of detail provided in the reporting of sustainable development initiatives to identify what is being communicated and whether there is substance to the reporting. The results show that there are issues with the lack of detail reported and its anecdotal nature.

Construct definition, Object classification, Attribute classification, Rater identification, Scale formation, and Enumeration and reporting (C-OAR-SE) is proposed as a new procedure for the development of scales to measure marketing constructs. COAR- SE is based on content validity, established by expert agreement after pre-interviews with target raters. In C-OAR-SE, constructs are defined in terms of Object, Attribute, and Rater Entity.
