This is an explorative study on the issues among communication professionals in the international nonprofit field, particularly public relations practitioners. This study will analyze data gathered from professional and peer-reviewed publications detailing the communication styles of public relations practitioners working in and with nonprofits on an international level. Information on education, culture and government were taken into account. Interviews with professionals in the international journalism and education field, international nonprofit field and international public relations field were conducted to gather further information regarding cultural, educational and governmental differences that affect the communication of public relations practitioners in international nonprofit organizations

The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between sociocultural adaptation of international graduate students and selected demographic characteristics, and to explore the students’ perceptions of institutional support with regard to their adaptation. A three-phased, mixed methods approach was used to study international graduate students at a private, urban, mid-sized, Northeastern university. Preliminary discussion groups (N = 42), followed by a questionnaire (N = 129), and then follow-up focus groups (N = 11), resulted in 28 statistically significant findings and five major themes. The primary aim of this article is to propose an answer if U.S. punitive damages judgments should be recognized in Germany. First, the article will give an overview about punitive damages under American Law and then will analyze the German doctrinal framework of damages. On this basis, the paper will provide an overview of the proceeding of the recognition and execution of foreign judgments in Germany, including the German ordre public. This qualitative survey of reports is an examination of the use of target population cultural knowledge of mental health and healing in refugee camp mental health programs. The data for this study came from a survey of reports from completed refugee camp mental health programs. Increasing globalization in the Middle East has resulted in greater commercial interaction between Saudi Arabia and the West. This, in turn, has led to a resurgence of international arbitration agreements between Saudi Arabian businesses and their Western counterparts. However, the strong religious undertones in Saudi Arabian law have given rise to tension with the West, and the United States, in particular. This study operationalized the Four Worlds model for mass media values in a new context — that of a foreign-language newspaper serving a recent-immigrant community within a First World society, namely a Hispanic community in central Arkansas, in the United States. The study established baseline representations of previously described “First World” and “Fourth World” values in a mainstream central Arkansas newspaper, and in Cherokee and Koori newspapers.
