This study was conducted to investigate the disproportional distribution of subjective and objective discipline referrals to the different student groups’ gender, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity for the 6th through 12th grade students in a central Florida public school district for the school year 2009-2010. The relationship of the disproportional distribution of subjective and objective discipline referrals between gender and socioeconomic status was analyzed.
