Changes In Physico-Chemical Properties Of A Sandy Loam Soil Depending On The Particle Size Of Hazelnut Shell-Derived Biochar, Damla Bender Özenç, Ceyhan Tarakçioğlu, Funda Irmak Yilmaz, Selahattin AygüN
The Philippine Agricultural Scientist
This study evaluated the effects of hazelnut shell-derived biochar particle sizes on the soil’s physical and chemical properties, and on various nutrient contents present in the sandy loamy soils. For this purpose, an incubation experiment in the plastic high tunnel has been performed under sixteen treatments (control-only soil), and at four incubation times (30, 60, 90, and 120 d), by using three different biochar sizes (≤ 1, 1 - 2, and 2 - 4 mm). The addition of 1 - 2 and 2 - 4 mm biochar during the incubation time decreased the bulk density in the soil by 26%. …
The Effects Of Pseudomonas Koreensis Igpeb 17 And Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi On Growth And Physiological Properties Of Ginger, Dilfuza Jabborova
The Effects Of Pseudomonas Koreensis Igpeb 17 And Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi On Growth And Physiological Properties Of Ginger, Dilfuza Jabborova
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
The effect of Pseudomonas koreensis IGPEB 17 and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on plant growth and physiological properties of ginger (Zingiber officinale) in net house conditions was investigated. The experiment included four treatments including P. koreensis IGPEB 17, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) biofertilizer and combination of P. koreensis IGPEB 17 and AMF treatment. The result indicated that P. koreensis IGPEB 17 had positive effects on plant growth-promoting traits such as P-solubilization, protease, amylase, IAA, and ACC deaminase production. Moreover, P. koreensis IGPEB 17 showed ability in producing lipase and cellulase. The P. koreensis IGPEB 17 significantly increased plant height (57.6%), …

Spatial Distribution Of Soil Nutrients In Reclamation Dump Sites Based On Subdivision Idw, Zhao Yanling, Zhao Bincheng, Wang Xin, Xiao Wu, Liu Huifang
Coal Geology & Exploration
Accurately grasping the spatial distribution of soil nutrients is of great significance for evaluating the soil quality of reclamation dumps and formulating corresponding reclamation measures. The general interpolation method of the complex terrain of the dump site has a poor prediction effect. The northern dump of Shengli No.1 open-pit mine in Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia was selected as an example in the paper. The soil nutrients(available nitrogen, available potassium, available phosphorus and organic matter) were spatially interpolated using the inverse distance weighting method based on terrain partitioning, and compared with the conventional inverse distance weighting method and kriging interpolation method. The …
