Patterson Silver Wolf (Adelv unegv Waya) narrates his path from a difficult early family life, his introduction to alcohol and drugs as an adolescent, and a directionless early adulthood overshadowed by chemical dependency, to a series of events and encounters that transformed his life. In this edition of the Voice, Vice President of Academic Affairs candidate, R. Bruce Douglass, shares his views on education. The College’s health center, Hygeia Hall, host a bi-annual health fair for students. Construction starts on the old Severance gymnasium to convert it into an art building on campus. In a letter to the editor, a student criticizes the administration at the College for “double talking.” Additionally, a story talks about the tradition of Ramadan.

This edition of the Wooster Voice begins with an article about illegal voter registration of college students and a different article about African-American equation. At the bottom of the first page, there is an article about the apprehension and sentencing of a male student that attempted to molest a senior female and actually attacked another female student in the shower. The student pled guilty and served 90 days in Wayne County Jail on charges of sexual imposition and criminal trespassing. Finally, there is information regarding athletics on campus and a number of advertisements for local businesses.

This issue of the newspaper begins with the announcement of an anonymous gift. According to the president, Henry J. Copeland, a donor (who wished to remain anonymous) donated $1 million to the college in order to add a dimension of religious substance. The president proposed that this money be used for symposia, student travel opportunities, and an endowed chair for the Department of Religion. This edition ends with information about athletic events with the college and a list of advertisements for local businesses.

The Low Income People's Voice was a free-of-charge community newspaper founded in 1970 parallel to an era of major urban renewal in Portland, Maine- and reflecting an activism in response to large-scale demolition and marginalizing populations in the city.

The March 1972 issue highlights the reorganization of Low Income People's Voice as financially independent from the Model Cities program federal funding. Additional topics include public schools, opposition to the Portland West Elementary School Referendum, Our Place (community-owned recreation facility) at 54 York Street, the Bayside neighborhood, Portland's Irish community, Portland Housing Authority.

The November 1971 issue includes a feature article about a major apartment building fire on Pearl Street, Welfare programs, additional articles about public housing, the sale of the Jackson Elementary School building (34 Forest Avenue) for Eastland Hotel expansion, People's Regional Opportunity Program (PROP).
