When One Is Enough: The One-Person Play, Patti Siberz

The one-person play is educational. The solo drama provides a unique and intimate relationship between the character and the audience. That relationship sheds light on the character being portrayed and on a different time in history or place. Often the monodrama is biographical, a play written about a well-known person. Whether the play is about a famous person or a totally made up character, the audience will have a unique insight into the mind and the heart of that individual.
