The Chicago Community Trust recently demonstrated its support of Governors State University president, Dr. Elaine P. Maimon, and the GSU Promise program with a $25,000 responsive grant to support new leaders. The funds will be used to establish the initial support services infrastructure for the GSU Promise, an initiative to ensure low-income students have access to a university education.
