The primordial soup hypothesis is currently the most popular origin of life theory. This hypothesis suggests that DNA and self-replicating organisms were formed out of a warm, aqueous environment on the surface of the prebiotic earth. However, recent studies have shown that the primordial soup hypothesis is not only lacking in factual support, it is also internally flawed. The primordial soup hypothesis is statistically impossible, and it does not adequately account for the origin of the specified complexity of the genetic code. The very nature of the genetic code requires an intelligence source. Universal experience shows that specified complexity is …
