This study aims to analyze disaster communication literacy in mothers in dealing with floods in Banjar Regency. This study is qualitative research and uses a case study type. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study are mothers who have children and live in the Banjar Regency area. Supporting informants are BPBD as an institution involved in flood disaster management. Data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification.

Information literacy refers to the abilities of an individual in identifying, retrieving, and utilising appropriate and required information. The present study attempts to examine the information literacy skills of the research scholars of University of Jammu. For data collection, a well semi-structured questionnaire was framed and distributed among 270 research scholars of the University of Jammu. Out of 270 questionnaires, 236 were received back from 90 male and 146 female research scholars respectively. The objective of this study is to explore the awareness and use of open access resources (OARs) by Faculty and students of Ponda Education Society’s (PES’s) colleges.
