This paper analyzes the linguistic landscape on the guide signs in the public spaces of Expo 2020 Dubai, United Arab Emirates, attended by 192 countries worldwide from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. Microblogging has taken a quotidian position in the scope of internet usage. This research explores the pragmatic of ughtea, a slang form of ukhti, as a term of address slang and identity in Twitter’s prominent behaviour on virtual sphere: tweeting. Semantically, ukhti refers to “sister” of a possessive pronoun of the first person i.e. the speaker, both in biological and ideological contexts. This article investigates Al-Irsyad contribution with transnational approach especially in tracing social cultural community of Indonesia in the context of Tegal. In this article, authors focus on Al-Irsyad established in 1914 by Ahmad Surkati (1876-1943) who had an important role in the Islamic reformation movement in the early twentieth century in Indonesia. His intellectual views and religion-politics stressing the equality of all Muslims. This article analyzes message switching, idiomatic expressions, characteristics of idioms, idiomatic forms, and Quranic idioms. The data source of this research is 28 idiomatic expressions in the Quran. The method used is content analysis using a lexical, grammatical, and Arabic stylistic approach.
