Abstract
This paper describes a DNP project that was designed to address the issue of rural mental telehealth implementation barriers. One of the main barriers to rural telehealth programs has been a technical infrastructure incapable of adequately hosting the telehealth programs. Low-Earth orbit (LEO) internet technology has emerged as a way to solve the rural telehealth conundrum by offering an improved rural technical infrastructure.
