Background: Cannabis is widely used among males and females of reproductive age. A growing body of research suggests the endocannabinoid system is negatively impacted by the use of cannabis affecting many factors required for fertility. Objective: This article aims to evaluate existing literature on trends seen in patients undergoing artificial reproductive therapy (ART) and the effects cannabis has on fertility outcomes, including conception. Methods: This is a systematic review searching PubMed, MEDLINE, and Academic Search Premier databases through August 2022 using keywords derived from three defined concepts.
