The article deals with creative work of the modern Fergana potter Abdusalyam Mamurov whose work was not investigated in art criticism works before. The author analyzes communication between the art of the artist’s esthetic view with the technical moments of process and the choice of raw materials since success in ceramics is closely connected with these questions. In the conclusion originality of the potter’s work in the system of art ceramics are defined.
