The internship included a project which consisted of researching and implementing safety inside a high school mechanics and welding classroom. Vocational Education enhances the learning experience for students and ensuring a safe environment promotes the learning process.

This orchard will serve as a learning lab for students and promote a variety of Supervised Agriculture Experience projects. Agricultural Education: Graduate Internship Reports

The internship included the acquisition of a variety of validation documents, plus the development of a school and community garden. The garden provides for hands-on student learning. Students involved in the project harvest the fresh produce and distribute it to families of students who do not have access to fresh produce. Some produce from the school garden was donated to the local food bank in the area. Teaching sustainable practices is essential to this educational program for students in the middle school.

We will also provide a brief chronicle of an area I see which is in need of continual improving. Finally, we will provide the Supporting Completion Materials necessary which would be required during an on-site review.

The documents are concurrently used for the Agriculture Incentive Grant review process at Norco High School, which is conducted by representatives of the California Department of Education and the local Agriculture Advisory Committee. The internship included the implementation and designing of the curriculum for an Agriculture and Soil Chemistry course. The internship also included the writing of a specialized grant and purchase of over $20,000 in data collection technology.

This report was created for the Madera South High School Agriculture Program located in California's Central Valley.
