The United States of America has exerted a potent influence upon the development of international law. The American people, though not essentially interested in international law, have developed a multiplicity of laws within the nation. The United States has become a nation of laws, law breakers, and jingoists who claim respect for the law, but break them at will. The American citizen is incensed with a spirit of getting by the law and at heart laughs at the thousands of laws the common officer is supposed to know and enforce today.

This farm analysis was based on an economic analysis of fifty representative farms in Overton County. The material from this analysis was supplemented by United States Census reports, Climatological records, soil survey reports, and other data that would aid in a complete economic analysis of agricultural conditions and enable definite recommendations to be made for the improvement of agricultural conditions in this area.

The objects of this economic study were:
