This paper explored past studies that demonstrated how relevant storybooks are in promoting reading culture amongst students. The paper employed the review of literature approach to collect and synthesize information majorly from primary and secondary sources taking cognizance of the research objective. The study reviewed the basis of reading, storybooks, and the benefits of storybooks in improving students’ reading culture and the importance of storybooks and strategies for improving students’ reading culture. From the extant literature reviewed, students’ reading culture is influenced when they are exposed to storybooks.

This study sought to establish the availability and use of reference source as correlates of promotion of reading culture among secondary students in Oyo state, Nigeria. Reading habit enhances the academic performance of students. The study is on online information resources utilization among students in Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Nigeria. Five research questions guided the research work. 150 copies of questionnaire were administered to students through face to face method in order to collect data. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate students’ perceptions and attitudes towards the usage of ICT and its challenges in the higher educational institutions of Balochistan. A convenient sampling method was used to select 420 students from the top 6 higher educational institutions of Balochistan. Moreover, a Lickert-based closed-ended questionnaire was used for data collection purposes. The collected data were analyzed in SPSS Software. The results showed that 150 (39.5%) respondents were using ICT for academic events and 142 (37.4%) respondents were using ICT for their assignment completion. A Flashcard is one of the media to develop student information literacy in which its application includes activities of analyzing, writing and telling stories. Storytelling is a process of reading that is useful to increase the courage to appear in public. This research used descriptive method. This study aims to understand the attitude of students towards digital reading. Survey method was used to conduct the study among the postgraduate students of the universities in Kerala state of India. Stratified random sampling method was used to select a representative sample of 588 students from the teaching departments of the universities. Results reveal that majority of the students have an average level of attitude towards digital reading and the male students have more positive attitudes towards digital reading than the female students. This research paper investigates the perspectives of students’ of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) towards computer and pen-on-paper examination. Questionnaires were used to generate data. The data collected targeted students of three selected Study Centre .300 questionnaires which consist of 200-400 level of students of the three selected study Centre were administered .Response rate of 240 out of 300 representing 80% of the total questionnaires obtained for data analysis. This chapter concludes the edited volume Hyphenated Identities and affords a chance to juxtapose how transnational students negotiate school and identity with how school systems in turn view such students, and then it allows the examination of two different strategies -- situational ethnicity versus the assertion of hyphenated identity -- as a glimpse into the cosmology of transnationally mobile students as they come into adulthood.
