Geographic databases contain collections of spatial data representing the variety of views for the real world at a specific time. Depending on the resolution or scale of the spatial data, spatial objects may have different spatial dimensions, and they may be represented by point, linear, or polygonal features, or combination of them. The diversity of data that are collected over the same area, often from different sources, imposes a question of how to integrate and to keep them consistent in order to provide correct answers for spatial queries. Throughout the nineteenth century in the United States, Native American and European cultures were often in conflict, consequently, Native Americans found it necessary to transform their traditional practices in order to adhere to the ever-changing environment These transformations included altering their hunting and gathering patterns since land speculators and industrialists appropriated the land and its resources, and encouraged agricultural development. They had to reconstruct their religion to fit the new Christian worldview They also had to rethink the role of traditional tribal politics in order to adhere to the laws of emerging governments. Brad Fraser's play Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love deals with love and relationships in a society devoid of morality and fearful of emotional commitment. This thesis focused on translating the conflicts in the script into action for performance, and creating a strong ensemble of actors, designers and crew. My process included an analysis of the play, examining it with particular attention to character and story. I also studied the playwright's previous and subsequent work as well as reviews to better prepare myself for the challenges of mounting this show. The next stage was the application of …

The purpose of this study was to explore the factors that bring teenage girls to family planning clinics for pregnancy tests. This study focused on those teens requesting pregnancy tests to investigate the circumstances surrounding their concern that they may be pregnant. A total of 116 teenage girls, between the ages of 13 and 19 completed the 21 item questionnaire. While the results of this study did support previous research showing that teens are using birth control, results found correct and consistent use to be a problem. While most teenage girls reported that they use condoms (73%), over half did …

Glued-laminated timber (glulam) is an engineered wood product made by adhering dimension lumber together to form a larger structural member. By combining fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) technology with glulam, it is possible to dramatically increase glulam strength and stiffness, to negate the need for high quality tension laminations, to reduce beam size, to decrease strength variability, to increase ductility, and possibly to reduce glulam cost. A "wetpregn process was used to form the FRP, by impregnating E-glass fabric with a phenolic resin. Following impregnation, the wetpreg FRP was applied to glulam made from eastern hemlock timber. Since the earliest times, individuals and groups of individuals have been interested in communicating sensitive information in a manner which would guarantee that such information could not be arbitrarily received. Further, such information was to be received by select recipients and this required that a means of secure information transmission be found and employed. To these ends, methods of information encryption have ever since been sought and employed. The entire study and practice of this activity, cryptology, the science of message encryption and decryption, provides a framework for this thesis.
