Many studies investigating the short-term variations associated with the power output from wind turbine generators utilise simulated or modelled data in the analysis. This current study uses short-term empirical data downloaded directly from operational wind turbines via electrical power quality meters. The empirical data shows that the short-term variations (one-second or sub-one-second timeframe) occur continuously over most of the power output range. A novel name is proposed, the Geeth Effect, for this variability phenomenon. In this paper, we consider a quantum scalar field propagating on the Reissner-Nordström black hole spacetime. We compute the renormalized stress-energy tensor for the field in the Hartle-Hawking, Boulware and Unruh states. When the field is in the Hartle-Hawking state, we renormalize using the recently developed “extended coordinate” prescription. This method, which relies on Euclidean techniques, is very fast and accurate. Once, we have renormalized in the Hartle-Hawking state, we compute the stress-energy tensor in the Boulware and Unruh states by leveraging the fact that the difference between stress-energy tensors in different quantum states is already finite. We analyse parental smoking and cessation (quitting) associations with teenager e-cigarette, alcohol, tobacco smoking and other drug use, and explore parental smoking as a mechanism for social reproduction. We use data from Waves 1–3 of Growing Up in Ireland (Cohort ’98). Our analytic sample consisted of n = 6,039 participants reporting in all 3 Waves. Data were collected in Waves 1 and 2 when the children were 9 and 13 years old and in Wave 3 at age 17/18 years. By altering the thermal equilibria between internal and ambient environments, dynamic insulation can minimize heating and cooling building energy requirements. The performance of a thermally-insulated roller blind was evaluated both experimentally and via simulation studies. The variation of blind position was optimized to minimize building energy consumption, maintain thermal comfort, and minimize daylight discomfort for a particular system, location and conditions. Abstract: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) activities are prevalent on the Dark Web to evade detection, posing a global challenge for law enforcement. Our objective is to analyze CSAM discussions in this concealed space using a Support Vector Machine model, achieving an accuracy of 87.6%. Across eight forums, approximately 28.4% of posts contained CSAM, with victim ages most commonly reported as 12, 14, 13, and 11 years old for YouTube, Skype, Instagram, and Facebook, respectively. This study proposes a new treatment method using holographic diffusers while also comparing their optical characteristics to a current treatment method (Bangerter foils). Holographic diffusers were developed by optically patterning thin polymer layers on a micron scale. Two compositions of photopolymer (acrylamide and diacetone acrylamide based) are analysed herein.
