A huge number of Saudi students come to study at American colleges every year. Most of those students have to work on their English language to become proficient enough to start taking classes in colleges. The King Abdullah scholarship program has opened the door for a massive number of Saudi students to travel overseas for higher education. The United States has been chosen by the majority of those students as a favorite destination to complete their education. As a result, the number of Saudi Arabian students who study in the United States has increased dramatically. Nearly all-Saudi students who come to the U.S. need to learn English in order to satisfy the English language admission requirement that is needed to obtain admissions to universities and colleges in the U.S.

A Case Study Of The Decision Model For American Outbound Medical Tourists, Azadeh Radmanesh

The growing medical tourism industry attracts international patients who decide to have their medical treatment performed at international hospitals. This exploratory research aims to determine the main factors that influence American medical tourists’ decision-making process about travelling overseas in order to access medical services.

The results of this qualitative study, which interviewed 12 participants, suggest that cost, advanced technology, high quality services, and accreditation are main motives that encourage medical tourists to obtain medical treatment outside their origin of country.
