The purpose of this Master’s Project was to research Multiple Sclerosis and to gather a significant amount of knowledge to thoroughly understand this disease and the effects it may have on an individual diagnosed with MS. More specifically and as previously stated, fatigue is a very common and often debilitating symptom of MS. Recruit, Respect And Retain: The Impact Of The Baby Boomer Nurse On Hospital Workforce Strategy, Susan H. Klug

Hospitals are increasingly concerned about shortages of registered nurses due to the retirement of Baby Boomer nurses. A case study resulted in an internal analysis of Baby Boomer nurses to understand how hospital workforce strategy can effectively retain older nurses. Using an interdisciplinary approach, this primarily qualitative study included an in-depth survey and semi-structured interviews. The hospital was able to identify retention strategies that met the needs of older nurses and the organization through the inclusion of multiple perspectives.
