This article presents an annotated list of websites with data that describe young people by community and, in the following section, book review resources for diverse children’s and young adult literature. The very first section will point to general resources based on the U.S. & Canada, and then will dip into the specific places served by PNLA. State and Provincial education departments all have some-thing like school report cards. Searches performed aimed at finding state/ provincial or nonprofit agencies providing reports about demographics, disabilities, at-risk behaviors and resiliency factors. A Migration Analysis Of Demographic Transitions In The Upper-Midwest From 2006-2010, Andrew Brick

Rural communities in the Upper-Midwest are essential for contributions to agriculture, oil and development of economic networks to larger towns and cities. Concerning rural population stability and transitions, this research study aims to discover complex migration flows by constructing specified groups of Upper-Midwest regions (i.e., Bakken oil, Taconite iron, high agriculture, developing area of rural depopulation and Interstate 94). Research questions on migrant distributions will be answered by investigating (in-) and (out-) flow data by demographic characteristics (e.g., age, gender and ethnicity) on a county-to-county level. Where is the epicenter of I-O psychology in the U.S.? Where is the location around which all research, teaching and consulting revolves? Is it East Lansing, the home of Michigan State? No. Is it Bowling Green, Ohio, SIOP headquarters? No, but you are getting closer. How about Champaign, IL? Is the University of Illinois the epicenter? Warmer still, but not quite there. The center of U.S. I-O psychology is Mount Vernon, Illinois.
