This was a Nazi decreed raid and mass arrest in Paris on July 16-17, 1942, aimed at the Jewish population in occupied France. 13,152 men, women and children were arrested and held at the Velodrome d'Hiver and the Drancy Internment Camp nearby under deplorable …
