"One Person, One Vote, And The Constitutionality Of The Winner-Take-All Allocation Of Electoral Votes", David A. Schultz

The winner-take-all method of allocating electoral votes in presidential races is the norm among states, yet nowhere in the Constitution is this practice mandated. This article contends that the winner-take-all allocation of electors unconstitutionally magnifies the battleground states' influence on the final Electoral College tally and that these inequities cannot be reconciled with the principle of one-person, one-vote that the US Supreme Court articulated in the landmark Reynolds v. Who Is The Parent?: Helping Parentified Children In The Classroom, Samantha R. Gulon

This research and following paper results from a Masters Class assignment. Two classmates and I found the word Parentification in our research regarding disenfranchised students. The purpose of this study is to determine parentification, establish a potential profile of parentified students, and to provide information for educators to help these students in the classroom. Parentification is the role reversal of parent and child. My review of the literature concluded that all children are parentified in some manner. The degree to which the parentification occurs ranges from reasonable chores to destructive means. My results showed that there are no strategies to …
