According to research, organizational innovativness is a key component in a firm’s short- and long-term success. How a firm achieves organizational innovativenss is a hotly debated topic. While much of the literature focuses on sales, marketing, and other customer-facing departments, I investigate network administrators and system administrators in the IT operations departments of firms. In this study, I propose several factors that lead to organizational innovativness by focusing on the IT operations department. Job satisfaction and life satisfaction have been two of the most researched social constructs for many decades. This study looks into the relationship that exists between job satisfaction, life satisfaction, and work–family conflict among salaried and self-employed male and female employees.
