Agricultural Education and Communication
The purpose of this project was to create middle school agriculture curriculum for the top three agriculture commodities in Humboldt County. It was designed and created specifically for Humboldt County to educate the upcoming generations about the unique and diverse agriculture industry Humboldt County provides. It is hoped that this easy and ready to use curriculum will get the students interested and involved in the agriculture industry in the future years. It includes a teacher’s aide outline, student handouts, a Power Point, and an activity handout.

Agricultural Education and Communication
The purpose of this senior project was to create an educational display about succulent Supervised Agriculture Experience (S.A.E.) projects. This display was presented at the Idea Show of the California Agriculture Teachers' Association (CATA). This show was part of the CATA's annual summer conference hosted by California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. The goal was to provide high school agriculture teachers throughout the state with creative ways to implement S.A.E. projects in their programs. The project included extensive planning and designing of the display, as well as photographs, 3-Dimensional projects and numerous teaching materials in handout form.

The green building movement has recently gained strength and is becoming a major driver in a wide array of construction industries. The USGBC is a nonprofit organization composed of industry leaders who have developed a quantifiable rating system known as LEED®. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design is a point based ranking system that measures building performance based on a set of measurably sustainable criteria. THIS REPORT CONTAINS PLANNING METHODS AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR A RAISED VEGETABLE GARDEN FOR WILSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, IN WILSONVILLE, OREGON. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE GARDEN WAS TO USE IT AS A LEARNING TOOL FOR THE SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AT WILSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL. UPON DOING MORE RESEARCH IT BECAME EVIDENT THAT THE GARDEN CAN ALSO BE USED AS A HEALING TOOL FOR STUDENTS WHO SUFFER FROM ATTENTION DISORDERS AND WHO HAVE EMOTIONAL AND LEARNING DISABILITIES. THE STUDENTS HAVE BECOME INVESTED IN THE GARDEN PROJECT AND LOOK FORWARD TO DOING MORE PROJECTS WITH THEIR CLASS.

The project was for us to come up with a temporary farmstand that would be set up to sell fruits and vegetables but mainly to draw people to the area to bring awareness that there were plans to build a development at that location. Our group, Dana Curtice, Robert Vasilieff and Terje Johansen met with the developers three times. New ideas and information were presented in the first two meetings. The third meeting was to present our final design.
