From sunset to sunrise, the savannah is full of interesting animals. In the morning, female lions can be found in the shade with two or three cubs. In the afternoon, hippos hold their breath for up to five minutes underwater. In the evening, vervet monkeys eat leaves and flowers as they lurk in branches. At night, superb starlings gather in large groups to sleep in trees.

A family of ducks is swimming together in a pond when one little duck gets distracted by a butterfly. Happily following it, the duckling wanders off, only to return to find the other ducks are gone. Searching for signs of its family, it hears some squawking, but it is just a brass band. Then there are some footprints, but they lead to person in flippers. There are some feathers, but they only lead to a pillow fight. The duck follows every clue until it finally finds a creative way to find its family.
