Generalized Transmuted Power Function Distribution, I. B. Abdul-Moniem, L. S. Diab

Journal of Statistics Applications & Probability

In this paper, we introduce a new distribution called Generalized Transmuted Power Function Distribution (GTPFD). Some statistical properties are deduced. Finally, a real data application about the survival times (in days) of 72 guinea pigs infected with virulent tubercle bacilli is used to illustrate. These real data show that the GTPFD can be considered as a good life time distribution comparing with other models.

In the present paper, a new lifetime distribution has been introduced by the use of Minimum Guarantee transformation as suggested by Kumar et al. (2017). For the purpose, Lindley distribution is considered as a baseline distribution. Some of the statistical properties of this distribution has been studied and classical estimators like maximum likelihood estimator (MLE), least square estimator (LSE) and maximum product of spacing estimator (MPSE) has been obtained and their performance is carried out through simulation study. Further, a real data has been taken to show its application in the real scenario.

The present article, studied about the Bayes risks of the unknown parameters of the generalized Inverted Exponential distribution. The Optimum Step-Stress Partially Accelerated Life Test (SS-PALT) has been used under the different censoring patterns. A comparison between Bayes risks of two different asymmetric loss functions has presented. Numerical illustration has also been carried out by the help of the real and simulated data set.

Different Estimators For Stochastic Parameter Panel Data Models With Serially Correlated Errors, Mohamed Reda Abonazel

This paper considers stochastic parameter panel data models when the errors are first-order serially correlated. The feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) and simple mean group (SMG) estimators for these models have been reviewed and examined. The efficiency comparisons for these estimators have been carried when the regression parameters are stochastic, non-stochastic, and mixedstochastic. Monte Carlo simulation study and a real data application are given to evaluate the performance of FGLS and SMG estimators. The results indicate that, in small samples, SMG estimator is more reliable in most situations than FGLS estimators, especially when the model includes one or more non-stochastic …

In this paper, a new generalized version of the Pareto distribution which is called cubic transmuted Pareto (CTP) is introduced and studied. Most of the mathematical and statistical properties are studied and the model parameters are estimated by the maximum likelihood method. Finally, an application of CTP to some real data sets and compare it with some distributions based on Pareto distribution is illustrated.

This research tackles the issue of interior interpretation and attempts to show its influence on doctrinal sects in the Islamic world. The research shows the sources of interior interpretation (Greek, Jewish and Christian sources) and the way it sneaked into doctrinal sects in the Islamic world (Ibn Saba', fanatic Sufi and Khawarij). Examples of interior interpretation from some sects (Isma'iliyyah and Nusayriyyah) are presented. The danger of these interpretations is highlighted by showing that the interior way employed to from inside destroy the Islamic doctrine and legislation. Finally, the Islamic attitude from interior interpretation is given.
