This Retrospective study was done during the year 2009 to determine the seroprevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), among blood donors in Al-Mukalla hospitals blood banks – Hadhramout-Yemen. Data was collected from blood banks, recorded and grouped according to their serology results. A total of 4526 blood donors were registered during the study period. 252 of them (5.3%) were hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positive, 29 (0.6%) were anti-hepatitis C virus (anti- HCV) positive and 4 (0.09%) were- anti- human immunodeficiency virus(Anti- HIV) positive. Benign Skin And Conjunctivalnevus Versus Malignant Melanoma: Clinicpathological Study Of 83 Cases In Aden, Saleh Salman Ba-Saleh, Mazen Abood Bin Thabit

The study aimed to provide basic information of skin &conjunctival nevi and melanoma in Aden. The study was a retrospective review of patients’ records and the data were analyzed through descriptive statistics. Of the 83 patients studied 32 (38.6%) were males and 51 (61.4%) were females.Patients ranged in age from 3 years to 70 years. The most frequent age range was 20 to 39 years 30 (36.2%) patients. The benign nevi lesions were 68 (81.9%) while malignant consists of 15(18.1%) patients.The site of lesions were predominant on skin with 65 (78.3%) followed by conjunctiva 18 (21.7%). The purpose of this study was to investigate the chemical compositions, total phenolic contents (TPC), free radical scavenging (FRSA), and antibacterial activities of Juniperus procera resins and the relevant propolis produced by Apis mellifer jementica in Al-Baha Province, Saudi Arabia. The results showed that both the resin and propolis samples, which were collected during April to June of 2014 and 2015, contained different compounds and included mono-, sesqui-, di-, and triterpenoids, wax esters, n-alkane, and n-alkene. This study was achieved at the industrial kidney centre in Qatan hospital during the period from February 2018 to July 2018, the study aimed at evaluating some hematological changes that occur in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) undergoing hemodialysis and comparing them with healthy people. The aim of this study is to assess the frequency of Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV) and Human Immunodeficiency (HIV) viral infections in patients undergoing cataract surgery. This study was conducted among 1,203 patients above the age of 17 years who were scheduled for cataract surgery at Yemen Magrabi Hospital from January 1st, through December 31st, 2012. Patients had investigations for HBV, HCV and HIV and findings were analyzed. The total number of patients screened was 1,203 including 603 (51.1%) males and 600 (49.9%) females.
