The purpose of this study is to find out if the Cable News Network (CNN) has an effect on media and business decision-makers in Egypt. The criteria used to define media and business decision-makers are those people in high level positions that are responsible for taking and executing decisions. Media decision-makers (MDMs) were defined as people in positions calling for decision-making in the media market, such as magazine and newspaper editors-in­chief, and news agency bureau chiefs in Egypt.
