Three weeks before the 2016 election, Utah was labeled as a swing state by most main-stream media outlets. The offensive rhetoric from both the Trump and Clinton campaigns and the rise of a popular independent candidate increased the potential for changes in the party identity of the Utah electorate. My research question is as follows: How has party identification changed in the state of Utah between the 2012 and 2016 elections?

Calls for the election of Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. The text promises that greater Nazi influence will free the German people from subjugation by Jewish bankers. The illustration shows a bare-chested German laborer representing the German people struggling beneath a load, labeled “International Jewish Financial Capital,” juxtaposed with an image of the laborer ultimately freed from his load, hefting a sledgehammer emblazoned with a swastika.

Dr. Wade Goodridge has just been elected as a national engineering councilor for the Council of Undergraduate Research (CUR). CUR is the administering organization for the National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). NCUR is a national conference showcasing undergraduate student research. Dr. Goodridge has a team of 6 undergraduate researchers currently working on various areas of his research and has mentored 2 students to develop and present research over the previous years at NCUR, UCUR, and Posters on the Hill.
