Marshak And Shakespeare: The Question Of New Content In Translation, Zilola Alibekova
Mental Enlightenment Scientific-Methodological Journal
The article is devoted to the problems of comparative literary criticism, in particular the question of Shakespeare's sonnets in the works of S.Ya.Marshak. Marshak always remained faithful to the classical traditions of Pushkin's times and protected these traditions with irresistible tenacity. The logic of the figurative structure, the deliberate adherence to verse forms, consecrated by centuries of practice, laconicism, the concentration of distinct thought and the experience settled in the word are the features of Marshakov's art. One way or another, Marshak is organically united in all his work and must be viewed through the prism of its amazingly multifaceted, …
Root Cause Analysis And Classification Of Single Point Failures In Designs Applying Triple Modular Redundancy In Sram Fpgas, James D. Swift
Root Cause Analysis And Classification Of Single Point Failures In Designs Applying Triple Modular Redundancy In Sram Fpgas, James D. Swift
Theses and Dissertations
Radiation effects encountered in space or aviation environments can affect the configuration bits in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) causing errors in FPGA output. One method of increasing FPGA reliability in radiation environments includes adding redundant logic to mask errors and allow time for repair. Despite the redundancy added with triple modular redundancy (TMR) and configuration scrubbing there exist some configuration bits that individually affect multiple TMR domains causing errors in FPGA output. A new tool called DeBit is introduced that identifies hardware resources associated with a single bit failure. This tool identifies a novel failure mode involving global routing …

Junk Evidence: A Call To Scrutinize Historical Cell Site Location Evidence, Victoria Saxe
The University of New Hampshire Law Review
Historical cell site location information (CSLI) has been offered as objective, scientific location evidence in criminal trials, but is far less precise than the claims it is used to support. Not only is there no way to pinpoint a cellphone’s precise geographic location from historical CSLI, but there are also no known validation or error rates for the methodologies used to collect and analyze this data. A 2019 telecommunications scandal in Denmark revealed gross inadequacies in the cellphone data and software used by law enforcement to analyze this type of evidence. The scandal sent shockwaves through the country’s legal community …

Department of Pathology, Anatomy, and Cell Biology Faculty Papers
The complexities of modern biomedicine are rapidly increasing. Thus, modeling and simulation have become increasingly important as a strategy to understand and predict the trajectory of pathophysiology, disease genesis, and disease spread in support of clinical and policy decisions. In such cases, inappropriate or ill-placed trust in the model and simulation outcomes may result in negative outcomes, and hence illustrate the need to formalize the execution and communication of modeling and simulation practices. Although verification and validation have been generally accepted as significant components of a model's credibility, they cannot be assumed to equate to a holistic credible practice, which …
