Agricultural production is highly sensitive to climate factors like other endogenous factors, and the expected climate change projections may have a negative impact on the efficiency and income of agricultural producers. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of changes in climatic factors (average air temperature and precipitation) on the technical efficiency of cotton growing farmers as its determinants in Samarkand region. Empirical analyzes were performed on the cases of 1141 cotton-growing farms using panel-based Time-Invariant Inefficiency model. Problem: In the operating room (OR), complex procedures and processes are performed under time pressures, which presents unique challenges regarding ergonomic-related injuries. Handling surgical instrumentation trays with awkward postures is one of the high-risk tasks performed in the OR that can result in upper extremity (UE) strain. A healthcare system-based hospital in Northern California had five reported upper extremity strain injuries by the surgical technologists (STs) in workplace safety (WPS) performance year (PY) 2018-2019. Abstract - In this work, we studied the effect of temperature on CIGS solar cells as a function of the thickness of the CdS buffer layer. It was found that with an increase in temperature in CIGS-based solar cells (SC), an increase in the acceptor doping concentration occurs in the region where carrier-generation- recombination prevails. It was also established that in solar cells with a thin buffer layer, generationrecombination through interface prevail, and the temperature influences them more.

This paper presents the results of a study of thin-film solar cells based on CdS/CdTe doped with copper. 5-20 Å thick Cu films were deposited by magnetron sputtering on the surface of the SnO2:F/SnO/CdS/CdTe structure. Annealing was performed in air at 400 °C for 30 minutes. The photovoltaic characteristics of the fabricated solar cells were studied. An increase in the efficiency of thin-film solar cells after doping the base layer with copper (Cu) is shown.

The Indonesian government has a target to provide 100% clean water through its “100-0-100 Urban” scheme. The objective is based on its Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2015–2019 and the ambition to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. The realization of a clean water supply, as of 2018, reached just 73%, and that in the cities, with only 2% growth per year. The purpose of this study was to investigate the optimal amount of information to explore by a climber to effectively anticipate the next actions and therefore ensure efficiency during the climb. Climbers (N=6), with mean age 15.6 years (+/-1.6) were assigned based on their maximal performance to an “expert” group (N=3 who can climb a route with difficulty level 7 or more) and a “beginner” group (N=3 who can climb a route with difficulty level 5c maximum). Background: This case report aims to inform the occupational therapist and other health care professionals of documentation best practices.

Method: This qualitative case report uses an exploratory approach to compare the quality of one participant’s handwritten documentation to her electronic documentation. Outcome measures include the Accuracy Rationale Completeness (ARC) Audit to score the quality of the notes and quantity of words, and an informal discussion with the participant about her experiences using both types of documentation.

Atmospheric water harvesting uses the vapor-compression cycle to collect water from the moisture in the air. The system’s components include an evaporator, condenser, compressor, fan, and several expansion valves. Condensate from the air is then funneled into a receptacle, which determines the efficiency of the water harvesting system. The ASME AG-1 Code specifies minimum rated airflow based on standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) for axial high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters and actual cubic feet per minute (ACFM) for radial HEPA filters. This study illustrates the variation in filter efficiency of axial HEPA filters subjected to ACFM and SCFM flow conditions. The filter test matrix consists of axial HEPA filters rated at 1,000 and 1,500 CFM with varying filter pack types. Each filter is subjected to pressures from 14.70 psi to 11.25 psi, temperatures of 70°F to 170°F, and relative humidities of 50% to 90%. Evaluation of …
