The study investigated the proficiency in human relation skill among the Information professionals working in the Government Engineering Colleges in Kerala. The study based on a questionnaire survey of Information professionals employed in the Government Engineering Colleges. The analysis revealed that the Information Professionals in the Government Engineering Colleges moderately good level in the human relation skill. All the professionals expressed positive attitudes towards keeping a good relationship with their clientele.

A child’s social, mental, and emotional well-being is significant to his/her daily functioning and academic achievement. Socioeconomic impoverished students are often burdened by traumatic experiences and stressors from their homes, communities, and school environment that can exacerbate academic difficulties. Schools in low socio-economic status (SES) communities are frequently coupled with educational disadvantages. Consequently, the lack of expectations, resources, training, and qualified staff often characterizes schools in these communities. ABSTRACT This study asses the factor influencing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competencies among library staff in university libraries. The objective of the study was to find how competent library staff are in using ICT facilities to do their job. The Findings revealed that many library staff in university libraries perform Microsoft Word based tasks like typing and printing of documents, can provide online searches using internet but cannot perform effective professional library related duties using ICT. To deliver the highest quality of care across the continuum, a large academic tertiary medical center envisioned a project that would provide an internal source of cross trained nurses for their medical intensive care unit (SCU2) and their medical intermediate care unit (R4/IMC/AVU). The hope for this program was to improve communication and collaboration between nurses and enhance the care that they provide to patients and their families.

The study investigated Competency Requirements and Acquisition among Catalogers for Effective Application of Conventional and Online Complementary Cataloging in Nigerian University Libraries. There were five research questions that guided the work. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised 168 librarians drawn from six university libraries, including the University of Ife, University of Ibadan, University of Benin, University of Lagos, University of Port Harcourt and the University of Nigeria. By increasingly incorporating a variety of student engagement methods into instruction sessions, librarians will be able to build on basic skills (remembering, understanding, applying) and develop students’ higher order learning skills (analysis, evaluation, and creation). For example, a skill librarians have recently introduced is critical appraisal of the literature, one component that ensures students effectively incorporate evidence-based practice into patient care. Librarians also aim to assess student learning and make appropriate iterative modifications to ensure these methods effectively set up students for success. Together, librarians and faculty are laying the groundwork to facilitate lifelong learning in Jefferson students.

Mental health care has become increasingly important in our society in recent years, especially in the Transgender and gender non-conforming community. 40% of transgender adults have attempted suicide during their lifetime and 75% of transgender and gender non-conforming youth feel unsafe at school. Rates of depression, anxiety, substance use, and poverty are also higher in this population. Mental health counselors must build an affirmative practice before counseling individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. The presenter is earning a masters degree in counseling and has extensively studied the mental health issues and needs of this population during her education.

Domestic violence remains a serious concern in the U.S. and stopping family violence is one of the 12 grand challenges for social work. Further, the core values of our profession are deeply rooted in social justice, dignity and worth of the person and importance of human relationships. Internationally, several studies have indicated insufficient emphasis on the theory and practice of inclusion in relation to disability, in both initial teacher education and continuing professional development programmes for Physical Education (PE) teachers. This has resulted in some negative attitudes and perceived lack of competency among teachers in relation to inclusive practices in PE. There is a lack of in-depth studies in this regard from an Irish perspective. This article examine the male and female Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals working in universities in Tamil Nadu. The study reveals that out of 441 respondents surveyed under the study, 73.7% (325) are male respondents and 26.3% (116) are female respondents. This study reveals that the male LIS professionals are very good and good at many skills while female LIS professionals are OK at many skills.
