This issue dedicated a large portion to GWU athletics, especially the basketball team. Following are articles related to enrollment numbers, alumni achievements, distinguished graduates, and faculty turned authors. The issue concludes with an article recalling O. Max Gardner's tremendous legacy he left on GW; named a "Great Person of Gardner-Webb", Gardner is one of the major reasons Gardner-Webb is thriving today.
