As our society becomes increasingly leisure-oriented with the growth of disposable personal income and shorter work periods, the need for recreation facilities continues to rise. Government agencies have attempted to meet this demand by the expansion of public facilities within the total outdoor rcreation resource complex. Similarly, commerical entrepreneurs have recognized the profit potential fo specific recreation elements with a resulting increase in facilities such as commerical campgrounds.
