"An anechoic chamber for use in the B-12 KHz range was designed and built for the purpose of obtaining the far field patterns of antennas and radiation systems. This chamber was evaluated and compared with various types of anechoic chambers from the standpoint of their "room performance."

The anechoic chamber is essentially a room lined with absorbing material, effective at microwave frequencies. The purpose of the absorbing material within the room is to present the reflection of the energy incident upon the walls of the room.
