The focus of this research paper is to better understand obsessive compulsive disorders, also known as OCD, in children and adolescents. I feel that in order to teach children and adolescents with OCD we, as teachers, need to understand the disorder. I want to be able to help students that may be in my classroom with this disorder. If I understand the disorder I can find the best way to teach the student. I will also be able to help the other students in the class to understand what that child is going through.
