End user acceptance and satisfaction with a new IT innovation is the pre-requisite for the successful introduction of this IT solutino into an organization. More than 70 per cent of health IT projects have failed to a certain extent because of its failure to satisfy the functional or non-functional requirements of the end users and thus were not accepted by them. To date, there is no sound evidence to suggest that clinical IT solutions will bring in benefits for a residential aged care facility.
