Leaders in higher education experience high and unrealistic demands for their skills, time, and energy, causing stress, competing priorities, burnout, compromised health, and attrition. However, unlike other racial and gender groups, Black women higher education administrators experienced these challenges more intensely. As a result of chronic stress associated with being undervalued and overworked, discriminatory and unwelcoming workplaces, and intersectional biases, Black women leaders are leaving higher education workplaces. There is a nationwide shortage of qualified teachers, with 90% of all teacher shortages caused by teacher attrition (Carver-Thomas & Darling-Hammond, 2019). This study surveyed public school K-12 teachers in South Carolina to gain an understanding of workplace factors that contribute to teacher intentions to quit/ teacher attrition. The current design measures teacher stress perceptions of workplace factors as the relational theoretical lens to determine teacher intention to leave or likelihood of attrition. To better understand this connection between AUD and stress and anxiety disorders, restraint stress (RS) and chronic-intermittent ethanol exposure (CIE) procedures were used on rats to analyze neuroinflammation via ELISA in the infralimbic and prelimbic cortices, and the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST). This project examined the prevalence of burnout among golf operations employees across Canada and the effects of various antecedents and outcomes associated with the burnout phenomenon. A multiple regression analysis revealed significant relationships between burnout and post-secondary education, job role, and the average number of hours worked. Using path analysis, significant relationships were also found between job satisfaction and burnout, turnover, and organizational commitment, burnout and turnover, and organizational support and organizational commitment. The present study was designed to examine the relationship among religion, mental health, stressful life events, and people’s sense of meaning and purpose in life using data from the 2017 Baylor Religion Survey (BRS), a publicly available dataset. This survey obtained data from a nationwide study of 1,501 United States adults, 1,402 of whom are included in the current analyses. This study aimed to examine the potential buffering role of growth mindset of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in reducing adolescents' externalizing behaviors in the context of normative stress (i.e., family, peer, academic, overall) during adolescence. Moderation analyses conducted in the PROCESS macro for SPSS revealed that family stress was significantly associated with externalizing behaviors in adolescents, and this relation was moderated by growth mindset of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between stress and well-being among online undergraduate college students, and to explore the role of social support as a potential moderator in this relationship. This study utilized cross-sectional survey data collected from 175 undergraduate students enrolled exclusively in online courses during the spring 2021 semester at an urban, public university in the midsouth US. Roughly 65% of the sample was comprised of nontraditional-aged students, those 24 years and older.
