Residential Change Of The Ukrainian Population In The City Of Windsor, Ontario From 1951 To 1991., Sandra Marie. Mudryj

The spatial residential patterns of Ukrainians in Windsor, Ontario are examined for the two census years of 1951 and 1991. In addition, comparisons are made between census Ukrainians and the three study groups of parishioners of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, parishioners of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and non-affiliated Ukrainians. The spatial residential patterns of the Ukrainian community have evolved from being highly concentrated in 1951 to significantly dispersed by 1991. Three factors of personal, cultural and societal are studied for their effect on the choice of residential location of the three study groups. Employment of Ukrainians …

This study focused on the factors affecting milk consumption in the Soviet Union in the years 1985 and 1989. These two years were chosen because complete data sets existed for the former Soviet Union and they represented the time period before the Soviet demise. Socio-Ecological Structure And Perceived Child And Adolescent Psychological Disorder In The Urban Core Of The Windsor Cma (Ontario)., James Andre. Leclair

This research examined the distribution and ecological correlates of referrals of children and adolescents to the Regional Children's Centre, a psychological assessment and treatment centre located in Windsor, Ontario. Referral data for the study were collected by the Regional Children's Centre for the study period April, 1992 through March, 1994. Referral rates were calculated at the enumeration area level for various 'diagnostic' and demographic sub-groups. The spatial distribution of referrals was assessed using the Poisson probability test. This test revealed that, for each sub-group analysed, the distribution of referrals in the study area was non-random. The socio-ecological structure of the …
