Nurses practicing in acute care hospital environments are exposed to constant stressors from a variety of sources. Workplace stress can lead to unhealthy coping behaviors, illness, and burnout, with intent to leave the organization or the nursing profession altogether. Resilience-building strategies can be employed to foster coping, improve nurse wellbeing, increase job satisfaction, promote retention, and enhance quality patient outcomes. This integrative review provides a synthesis of scholarly publications on nursing resilience from January 2014 through October 2020. The content of this manuscript is research investigated for the resilience and success of pastors in the Church of God in Christ, a Pentecostal denomination that has over six million members, to include over three-thousand pastors. The research is a phenomenological study designed to provide a narrative, interview of the participants to share their background, role, and day-to-day practices of the work of ministry as a senior pastor in this organization. The purpose of this study was to have a better understanding of the positive impact that resiliency has on an individual that has endured childhood maltreatment. This qualitative study focused on the information gathered from seven women ranging in age from 18 to 60 years old. Each participant answered three questionnaires (the Adverse Childhood Experience, Brief Resilience Coping Scale, and a Survey Questionnaire) prior to participating in a Zoom interview. The phenomena identified as the relationship between learning disabilities, entrepreneurial calling, and entrepreneurial success or failure is a timely and relevant topic that necessitated exploration. To build upon this research, this qualitative case study was conducted. The goal of this case study research is to understand how learning disabilities affect the success or failure of entrepreneurs, while also exploring how the entrepreneur was called to be an entrepreneur. The first theme identified in this research study was individual entrepreneurial resilience. Single-parent homes have been identified as a family structure that is disadvantageous to the well-being of children. Being a single parent can also be extremely stressful, thereby putting the mental health of parents at risk. This study examined how the varied life paths of civilians and military veterans can alter an individual’s identity, stress levels, life satisfaction, and resilience when faced with the same adversities. This quantitative study investigates the relationship between Hispanic high school English language learners’ English language proficiency and mathematical resilience using a Pearson’s r and Spearman’s r correlation tests. The sample population consists of 9th-12th grade students enrolled in a large public high school in the northeast whose native language is Spanish. English proficiency is measured using the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test. Mathematic resilience is measured using the Mathematical Resilience Scale.
