The first purpose of this paper was to determine the long range predictive value or the Metropolitan Readiness Test scores. The first method of determining the predictive value was the comparison of the Metropolitan Readiness Test, given in the fall of the first grade year, with the Science Research Associates Achievement Test which was given in the spring of the fourth grade year.
