UND held a faculty conference and convocation during its 75th Anniversary celebration in 1958. Numerous scholars, UND alumni, and UND faculty presented at the three day event, which ran from November 6 until November 8, 1958. A highlight was Dr. Elwyn Robinson's address on "The Themes of North Dakota History." He would expand on this short address in his famous monograph History of North Dakota, published in 1966.

The Flickertail Follies was a student variety show at the University of North Dakota from 1925 until 1962. The show was put on by Sigma Delta Chi, a national journalism society. This is the program from the 1959 show, held at the Grand Forks Central High School Auditorium in May.
