The Center for Applied Urban Research provided a variety of research, technical assistance, and training services during 1983-1984. Service was provided to clients from local and state governments and to non-profit organizations as well as private industry. Communities across Nebraska were the recipients of CAUR assistance. These included Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Nebraska City, Wayne, Gothenburg, and Scottsbluff. State agencies served included the Nebraska Crime Commission, the Department of Social Services, and the Equal Opportunity Commission.
