During my years at University at Albany, I have studied accounting that is based on the United States regulation, GAAP. As I am from British Columbia, Canada, that uses a different standard, IFRS, I wanted to take this opportunity to research the differences between GAAP and IFRS. Answering Democracy's Call : U.S. Citizen Enlistees In The First World War Canadian Expeditionary Force, June A. Mastan

This study explores the close relationship between Britain, the United States, and Canada at the beginning of the twentieth-century. The true closeness of this relationship becomes more evident throughout the First World War when issues of citizenship between the three nations assumed a substantial level of fluidity. Analyzing the motivations that compelled almost 36,000 U.S. citizens to enlist in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) during the First World War provides a window through which we can view this relationship.
