This poster will present preliminary evidence of the need for facilitating greater ease and/or ability with respect to personalization activities in migrant and refugee housing and suggest opportunities for design intervention. The lack of a comfortable environment for mothers on campus was challenged by the Non-Traditional Student Services department of a public university this past year. The department recruited a team of architecture, interior-design, and construction management faculty and students to design and build a mother’s room for the campus library.
