Within the current context of Adult ESOL education, a growing demographic of language learners with prior business knowledge and experience would like to start their own businesses. Most programs are focused on preparing students for an academic or vocational track in college with little attention given to potential entrepreneurs. This course was created out of an increasing need to prepare and support ESOL students who would like to take entrepreneurship boot camps and courses offered at the college level but lack confidence in their English skills.
