Review Of Corrosion Aspects Of Compression Ignition Engine Parts Using Biodiesel Blends, B. Singh, John Korstad, Y. C. Sharma
Review Of Corrosion Aspects Of Compression Ignition Engine Parts Using Biodiesel Blends, B. Singh, John Korstad, Y. C. Sharma
College of Science and Engineering Faculty Research and Scholarship
This paper reviews the effects of corrosion on the engine parts that come in contact with a newly developed biodiesel fuel and its petrodiesel blend. Copper, aluminum, copper alloys (bronze), and elastomers caused significant levels of corrosiveness in biodiesel and biodiesel blend as opposed to low corrosion with petrodiesel. Specimens of stainless steel showed significant resistance to corrosion in biodiesel samples as compared to copper, aluminum, and copper alloys, but the level of corrosion was still higher than that in petrodiesel. Common methods adopted for measurement of corrosion include weight loss through static emersion tests, and electrochemical techniques by electrochemical …
Increasing Motivation For Christian Growth By Teaching The Glory Of Christ, Timothy A. Mckitrick
Increasing Motivation For Christian Growth By Teaching The Glory Of Christ, Timothy A. Mckitrick
College of Theology and Ministry Dissertations, Projects, & Theses
Scope and Method of Study: The purpose of this project was to increase the motivation of believers to pursue Christian growth by teaching them about the glory of Christ. It proposed two main research questions: (1) Is there a direct relationship between a person's understanding of the gospel of the glory of Christ and their motivation to pursue Christian growth? (2) Will teaching this subject cause a change in attitude in participants toward Christian growth? To explore these questions, a fivesession teaching seminar was developed and presented. It utilized a pre-survey/ post-survey method to gather data concerning changes in participants' …
Explaining The Wind: How Self-Identified Born Again Christians Define What Born Again Means To Them, John D. Foubert, Angela W, Matthew Brosi, Dale Fuqua
Explaining The Wind: How Self-Identified Born Again Christians Define What Born Again Means To Them, John D. Foubert, Angela W, Matthew Brosi, Dale Fuqua
College of Science and Engineering Faculty Research and Scholarship
Christian students on college campuses form a large proportion of the student body on many campuses, and consequently, they are an important influence, collectively, on the existential dialogue occurring on university campuses. However it is understood, regeneration is a fundamental and central element of the life and belief system of Christian students. Some college students who identify as Christian also define themselves as born again, yet a multiplicity of understandings of this concept appears to exist. The present study sought to investigate how self-identified, born again Christian students define the term born again, how they come to know that they …

A Learning Missional Church: Reflections From Young Missiologists, Beate Fagerli, Knud Jorgenson, Kari Storstein Haug, Rolv Olsen, Knut Tveitereid
Regnum Edinburgh Centenary Series
This book is compiled by contributions from young missiologists from different parts of the world. It is written from the perspective of youth to be a fresh breath of air into more traditional mission thinking and mission paradigms. These reflections are valuable because of the content; they deal with relevant issues, they depict the church as a 'learning organization' cross-culturally; and they raise signs of youthful willingness to challenge and change.
Life-Widening Mission: Global Perspectives From The Anglican Communion, Cathy Ross
Life-Widening Mission: Global Perspectives From The Anglican Communion, Cathy Ross
Regnum Edinburgh Centenary Series
Each of the young Anglicans who write on the Five Marks of Mission were at the Edinburgh 2010 conference in June of that year. The articles were then reworked in Toronto a year later, so what you read here is the fruit of much labour, writing, and rewriting. These articles are also open and honest reflections from a range of young Anglicans in a variety of contexts. Here we see a glimpse of the strengths and struggles of the Anglican Communion. There is no space for complacency. The title of the book created much discussion. I still remember the excitement …
